Code of Ethics
Given its mission, PYDF (and Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard) has developed a code of ethics to guide its board members, administrative and teaching staff, as well as volunteers in their conduct when acting on behalf of PYDF.
At PYDF we believe in honesty, integrity, transparency, confidentiality and equality. We strive for excellence in all that we do. The organization has a proud history of helping young people become responsible adults through the lessons learned and promoted in our educational programs.
To maintain this tradition of giving it is imperative that all those associated with the organization practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling their responsibilities and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
PYDF requires directors, other volunteers, employees and members to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities. Employees and representatives of PYDF must practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling their responsibilities and comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
While PYDF hopes that all those who come in contact with PYDF personnel feel unhindered and unthreatened in raising concerns, complaints, and PYDF recognizes that it is essential to also provide for confidential and anonymous submission of such concerns, complaints and issues, to ensure PYDF has full opportunity to investigate and address any potential violations of policy, law, or ordinance in the conduct of PYDF activities.
